Summer Plans 2006

This year I will set out for Italy on June 10, where I will make Rome my home base for one month. I'll be studying Italian in the mornings, writing in the afternoons, drinking wine and eating pasta in the evenings, visiting St. Peter's, Trevi Fountain, Tivoli... la dolce vita!

During that month I'll visit Pompeii, Naples, Sicily, and Siena where I'll interview Dario Castagna and spend the day exploring the gorgeous old town inside the walls. I also have some friends -- old and new -- I will be meeting up with in Rome for a quick cappucino or some wine.

When Robin joins me, we will head north to Florence, Venice, Innsbrook, Munich, Frankfurt, the Rhine Valley and Lake Lucern. It's bound to be a fabulous trip.
